camoglam beauty inc.® was born

from my own scar.

After having a tummy tuck procedure, I thought I would finally feel confident in my body. I had spent thousands of dollars on surgery, only to be left with a scar that made me want to cover up anyway.

I was really insecure about it. I tried different treatments hoping to improve it, from steroid injections to creams to laser, but nothing gave me the result I was looking for. I remember thinking,

I spent all this money on my body just to still hide it.

That frustration is what eventually led me to scar camouflage. At the time, this type of work wasn't something I could find in Sacramento. I traveled to LA to train in paramedical tattooing and became fascinated with the art and science of color matching & blending scars. What started as a solution for something I struggled with personally became camoglam beauty inc.®

Today, I specialize in scar and stretch mark camouflage, helping clients who often come to me after pregnancy, tummy tucks, breast lifts, arm lifts, weight changes, injuries, burns and other experiences that have left visible marks on their skin. And I understand the emotional side of it because I've been on the other side of the treatment table.

I know what it's like to spend money trying to fix something. I know what it's like to choose clothes around a scar. And I know that you can be grateful for your body while still wanting to change something for yourself. As an RN and paramedical tattoo artist, I've built camoglam around advanced color theory, custom pigment matching, and natural-looking results. That work has also led to relationships with local plastic surgeons who refer patients to camoglam for scar and stretch mark camouflage. Eventually, I realized I wanted to do more than treat the clients I could personally see in Sacramento.

I created camoglam academy® to teach artists across the country the specialized techniques behind this work and help expand access to quality scar and stretch mark camouflage. What was once one of my biggest insecurities ultimately became the reason I built this company.

My scar built camoglam and now I get to use that experience to help other people feel comfortable showing their skin again.
